Why is not happening?? =(

Hi,
My life recently changed from the positive way to the negative in several ways... home, job, relationships even friends... I know I am a "positive" woman, always trying to do something in order to have a better life, you know what I mean? Actually I read the secret for this reason, after this reading I found "The law of attraction" and read this one too.... How it happened, I really do not know! Why when I really want something, when I really think in something, even see my life living with that goal just vanish away...
I´m young, smart, educated... and still single!! What do I have to do in order to have a man that loves me, not just use me so far it seems.

When you really want something, just imagine yourself being in a restaurant. When you go to a restaurant, and you order you food, you don't think much about how the food is going to be cooked, where the ingredients have come from, and what route the food is going to be deliver to where you are sitting. But you believe with all of your heart that the food is going to arrive on your table just like what you've ordered.

A lot of time when we wanted something, we place our orders and worry too much about the order. And when we worry too much about it, we started to doubt it. We started to think what if we don't get or I can't do that, or that is impossible to happen. So just place your order and relax and live your life.

About having the woman that love you...I agree, maybe you are not ready to have a partner yet. And if you think you are ready, have you offered the same to other people? have you offered that you can love someone with all of your heart, and not just using the other person? have you loved yourself as much as you needed?

It seems we are in the same situation. I think the most difficult problem is to let it go. If you want something, it is difficult to forget that and do something else. So, let's begin with not worrying about that. It's a challenge for me.

Hi- I agreee that perhaps the fact that you are focusing on "it's not happening" that you may be telling yourself--- the not part. I feel you may be thinking that you have been trying to focus on receiving and now you are feeling weary, as I am in the same boat. You need to make room for this man in your life, in every aspect of it.....A simple way to go about this, is in your living area.....On your bed, is there room enough for him? Set a pillow on the side you see him sleeping on.....In your closet, clear some of the area where he can put his things......In the bathroom, in the kitchen, etc....etc.....etc..... And then, make room in your heart, you have to be convinced inside that you want this man in your life, AND BELIEVE IT IS SO!

You only mentioned, you were eduated, smart but not happy - HELLO WOMAN - YOU ARE LEAVING OUT ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF ANYONE'S LIFE-
Every single human being is meant to be in joy. It is our natural state, and we know it, because when we feel negative emotions we feel terrible. We want to be happy. And the biggest thing to realize is that happiness is a choice, because it is a feeling generated from the inside of us. WE HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION TO BE HAPPY ON THE INSIDE NOW, TO MAGNETIZE A LIFE OF HAPPINESS ON THE OUTSIDE.....

It is the joy within that creates a magnificent life on the outside. It doesn't matter where you are, what you are doing, who you are with, or what is happening around you, you take the joy with you.

Perhaps, this is the time for you to find you, for you to love you because you must be able to do this before you can "be" for anyone else.....You have to love you on the inside and out, remember, Like attracts like, so fill yourself up first.....

The need for someone is the problem I share, too. I believe we, me and you need to get to place not to need someone. Not so simple. My situation is a bit different in that I suffer from a broken heart and I am not ready. Yet I want to learn to stand on my own and be my own person. It is in no way easy. I have said it takes intense effort. Keep building a positive environment for yourself. Do things. Workout, hike, ride a bike, try to push the envelope and make friends here. In the 8 months I have been on the secret I attracted 2 people. Now in the last two weeks the all has changed. So you are here now for a reason and that reason is to realign yourself.
To love yourself and prepare you as person to attract better people. The universe is saving you from you.
Be thankful and grateful, and believe it will change, and it will.

Perhaps you're not clear on that. Have you noticed that men will approach you on various occassions, but you'll dismiss them b/c "he's not who I want"? Relationships are too important to leave them to chance. One thing that works miracously is making a list of all the qualities and attributes your perfect man will have. And be specific. Decribe what he'll look like, his personality, how he'll dress, anything you can think of... After you do that, make another list. This time you want to write down everything you have to offer in a relationship. This will create increadibel clarity and accelerate LOA. And to stress it again, you need to write it all out. Thinking of it and visualizing it from your thoughts are not enough. When you have it written down, you'll notice loop holes and you'll be able to correct them.

It's so funny how we come across things at precisely the right moment....I'm actually laughing and shaking my head right now. For your question I have this to offer....
We come to expect certain things in our lives...based on what we "know" to be true. We've also been raised with certain belief systems. It has been my experience that until you can "rewire" yourself to newer and truer (lol) belief systems, you will continue to attract the same experiences. I have found that over the past year or so...I have attracted anything and everything that I ever recalling "judging"(simply because it scared me)....it's like I decided I had to experience all these things as it went along with my constant statement "never judge someone as you don't know what it's like to be in their shoes". Inside myself I was judging (fear).....so I attracted each experience so that I would know what it was like.
I was also raised to believe that you had to work your ass off to have things....that hard work was the only way. I was raised by a single mother who worked 3 jobs....and by my grandmother who never sat still for a moment until the day she died. She had money (lots of it) but never spent it and always spoke like she was on her last dime. Growing up in that environment will definitly shape you on your deepest levels.
Soooo - I find myself young, smart, educated, attractive, BUT....struggling financially - working my butt off - and wondering why the guys I meet seem to be so flaky...lol. As much as I think I've changed my belief systems - the reality of my life at the present moment shows I clearly still have a little work to do :) Just tonight I got a call from my boss telling me that they are closing my office as of 1/1/09. I am happy to say that I remained completely calm and happy as she apologized profusely and said how sorry they were but with "the state of the companys' finances - they had no choice". On one hand - I must still believe I have to struggle - but on the other hand...I didn't freak out AT ALL and that shows I am absolutely making huge progress!!!
So what am I trying to say to you with all this?? Well - take a closer look at what your true belief system is about life...but also be sure to note the areas where you are making progress because I know that you are without even "knowing" you :) Tha Law of Attraction works every time - without exception. Just remember that whatever you give the most energy to is the thing you will attract the fastest...maybe the thing you are most afraid of...like a guy that just "uses" you and leaves.....
I hope this helped you a little. Just keep going :) No worries about the past....or the future...just focus on the now and realize you are exactly where you are supposed to be.

My take on this is that you have to stop wanting... I think you are looking for love in the wrong places... You are actually looking for someone to define you... To make you feel loved... This is the wrong way to go... People can feel and know and they know your weaknesses and once they do then they take advantage of them... sad.
Listen... Take some time for yourself... Spend some time with yourself and learn who you are... Learn to love yourself, and this is where it starts...
In order to love someone, you first have to love yourself... In order for someone to love you, he has to know that you love yourself... In order to stand by someone, you must be able to stand alone... In order for someone to stand by you, he has to know that you are strong enough to stand for him...
