This past Summer, I had the pleasure of learning about "spending" - and not being SO frugal with my money. Afterall, if I relish in my FRUGALNESS - how will I enjoy ABUNDANCE?

So, thanks to Melody Larson (love ya, girl!) - I learned I had to learn how to spend to RECEIVE abundance. In other words, this is how I experienced ABUDANCE.

Did it come to me? yes, it did
And this was FUN, too! (Marcy should enjoy this one!)

So - I am starting this discussion - to continue for the next 30 days.

Those who wish to participate - please do so.

For the next 30 days, EVERYDAY - write your shopping list for that day - you must spend $1000. No carry over, no savings - it must be spent that day.

Here is my list for 10/24/2008

$500 full of groceries - enough to fill up my cupboards and freezers
$100 in gas for both vehicles
$200 my cable bill for the next two months (might as well pay it ahead of time)
$200 new Winter Clothes for my boys

Okay - who is next?

$ 200 facial & massage
$ 200 air circulation machine
$ 200 groceries, everything i've always want to buy
$ 200 winter shoes & clothes
$ 200 donate to local homeless shelter

Day 3
Call the doctor's office and put it in my dental work!!

I would buy a beautiful bottle of CRISTAL($255.00). Two very expensive cuban cigars($100.00). Sharing the bottle with my partner in crime. Toasting and being grateful to the fantastic day that it was.
I would then have a surprise draw on my website and give $645.00 to the winner.

Now that would be a fantastic day.
