Your mission

A lot of indigos feel they are "on a mission" from a higher source, in this world. Do you know what yours is? Do you want to share it? What plans, if any, have you made to actualise it? I would love to hear! :o)
Personally, I have found my mission and it is fairly huge. I am here to ground a civilization of love, through the promotion, establishment and conscious creation of "ecovillage" model communities. And that's the first step. The next step is to create a viable political platform that will create the civilization of Love. I have started implementing this plan by living in Love to my fullest capabilities. I have also started a business to generate huge incomes to fund the promotion, establishment and creation of ecovillages. I have also connected with several people in the political and economics world who align with my vision and are working on creating founding principles for the political party.

My mission, I believe, is to assist our brothers and sisters in the transistion into the next phase of humanity. I have dreams of teaching others and I feel that is my lot this lifetime.

Well, I just got here yesterday! I am slowly learning about social media and how it works. I really like this site, and have been a member of PI for a while, but haven't had the time to post anything, so I thought I'd start yesterday!

wow! beth, that sounds amazing! certainly, i understand about having different missions at different times. I feel that many time of my life are all about a spreading a certain meme or vibration and then when that time is over, that vibration is carried by another and I go on to the next thing in my life, remembering the lessons that I learned.
I started the discussion because I always find it important, whether we have a clear idea on our mission or not, to be focused on the action part. When vibrations of light move through thought to words to action we see the true change that I feel indigos were brought here to assist in empowering.

Why? What a wonderful question. :o)

I believe that Love is the most beautiful, powerful and wonderful thing that graces this universe. i believe that if our civilization was founded on this principle that we would see the world's problems disappear in place of collaborative, collective health, abundance and evolution for all people and our planet.
Why ecovillages? Well, I have traveled all over and have found that ecovillages, in general, provide a wondeful microcosmic example of what I see a civilization of Love being. Most are founded on connection with spirit, honouring the earth, using technologies that benefit the earth and its inhabitants, cooperation, sustainable economies, local initiatives, health and sharing. So, it inspires me to use this model as something to bring to the forefront of our civilization. it is very much like a much older method of living, where villages were centred around community buildings, where the food was grown collectively, where health, wellness and empowerment were the norm. I think that bringing this to our current civilization will remove lots of isolation, fear, disempowerment and environmental degradation.

What will I do with those who choose something else? another great question!
All I can do is provide education. Whether or not people want to build their society in this fashion is up to the people within it. I feel this is a wonderful method, and I know many share this vision. My mission is not to enforce anyone living in this way of life, but educate people on why it might be beneficial and provide opportunity for the experience of it.
The people who choose something different will do just that, choose something different. That choice will be honoured, because we are strong in our diversity. I believe Einstein said "if everyone is thinking the same thing, then someone isn't thinking." My belief is that, even if someone would not want to live in a community of this structure, that with enough education, support and Love that they would be able to live in harmony with their environment and those around them. If they were not, then I would continue to offer as much support, education and Love to encourage them to be peaceful and loving in life, hence creating a society of Love.

I feel I have been through the mill, trying to help family members, years past and some of it still needs to heal

I need at least a year of respite, in nature to see what my next step is...

Hello Amy welcome to PI and the Indigos group! I am well impressed of your mission and share your vision. Wish you a lot of success.

Like an indigo myself i didnt know much about why i am here for and i have been asking myself till recently. Given that we chose to be here in the world of today with many wars hate and illnesses going on why did i chose to be here? When i started asking these question i was getting answers or clues. Looking at it now i realize that it is not totally new information :) However one of the things i came to know is that i have to practice being patient and understanding learn how to live in a world the way it is today as it seems it is a new kind of environment to me, indeed i can often feel like an alien. Has been such a challenge to be patient and understanding when i see something wrong but when i do things go well, when i get frustrated i suffer the consequences. I have to teach lessons i learnt in previous lives to those yet to learn them... break the deception empower and encourage people and that is what can be my mission or what i am passionate about. it is in early stages but i am aiming to start a new platform where truth and knowledge can grow.

I totally understand! The feeling of being new to the human experience is one I get a lot! The thing I focus on is how totally fun it all is. Sure, there are crazy emotions, ups, downs, all-arounds, but in the end, you won't get that ride unless you're human. ;o)
