GET READY FOR WORLD GO VEGAN WEEKOct 25th-31st

The purpose of this campaign is to get people to take time to reconsider the effects of industrialized farming on humans, animals and the environment by educating people about vegan lifestyles.

From In Defense of Animals:

World GO VEGAN Week is also about celebrating what it means to be vegan. Veganism enables people to live in balance with all of Earth's creatures and promote freedom from exploitation for animals as part of their everyday lives. Modern animal agriculture is cruel and violent toward the chickens, cows, pigs and other creatures used to make meat, milk and eggs. During World GO VEGAN Week, we encourage people to become conscious of what - and who - they are eating, the effect it has on the world, and that a non-violent alternative exists.

Up until recently, I have been a loner
I love being around people, just more like minded, they have to have a good vibe, you all know what I mean
If we are here to help the world, help ourselves by ivolving more, I don't want to do this alone anymore
I feel a sense of empowerment here, and no more thinking I am such a wierdo, :)

Hi friends!
I am not a young adult
but def. an indigo, according to some descriptive lists.
I love being a free spirit, and I am thinking of ways to earn income
do different things, vs. staying at a '9-5' job, so not me
good to be here

wow im new to this and i am just flicking through and come across this indigo awakening and the strangest thing has jsut happened and no im not insane honestly but the the third picture on this page with the beautiful sun planets and the soul/person walking has moved me to tears and made me have butterfly feeling in my tum... i have heard very very briefly of indigo children and adults and i was talking to a young woman a few months ago who has a fantastic little shop I BELIEVE IN ANGELS and we talked and talked liked we had know each others years and she thought i was an 'indigo' but i had no idea what she was talking about but tried to explain it to me... our meeting was uncanny too we would never of met if my car had started that morning but as i decided to take the bus to work instead and that evening i decided to walk home and on my way home i walked past her shop and called in about 10mins before she was due to close and before we knew where we were nearly an hour had passed.. getting back to indigos im very keen to learn more and if it hadnt been for the pic that grabbed my attention i may of well come back alot later but i couldnt pass without saying how it made me feel

Hello did comment on an ealier discussion but i am a healer of humans and animals a humanitarian and lots of other stuff i have to be brave to do what i feel compelled to do and am so grateful of this site to connect with like minded people i couldnt believe reading the original description it was so acurate it made me laugh im so different from all of my family also

I appreciate this space deeply. It's strange to think about it this way...but anyone who has been drawn to this space is in some way connected to indigo awakening on a deeper sense than just the web page, for awhile now i've known that i am an indigo.... and i feel deeply grateful for everyone on this site sharing their energy and helping me personally learn more about myself...
