I have been involved in an MLM for a little over a year. I have had a couple really great months, lately though spending alot of time pumping up my downline and it is draining and I am finding it is affecting my energy and making it difficult to attract new fun blood....Any tips how to get back in the game?? I know how you feel,we have a product in Freelife Gochi that has been validated by science ,on www.pubmed.gov .and some of my down line just doesn't get it. had one women never listen to a call never went to listen to learn and gave up. what I have done is focus on the fact that there are a few.....( fill in the name of great people in your upline) out in the world who is just waiting for you, and it could be the very next person you talk too.

Don't focus on the ones that don't get it you'll only attract more that don't get it

Hi Nicole~

I know what you mean about getting your downline excited. I also know what the answer is. I want to offer you a couple pieces of information.

1. Are you attracting leaders or distributors to your team?
leaders can do it themselves. they can motivate themselves and others, they can learn on their own, they can even build the team without you being there. Which is ultimately what you want. so you can spend that week or two in hawaii and not have to answer calls from your distributors.

Distributors are usually temporary and they want their upline to motivate, educate, and if you please, do it for them... not what i want to be spending my time on.

2. Does your company offer any leadership education?
is there a system in place that your downline can plug into and learn on their own time. get motivated and educated themselves. WITHOUT you doing it for them???

It's all about how you think!!!! Break it down a miniute.....YOU ARE IN BUSINESS AND YOU CAN NOT BE IN BUSINESS WITHOUT A PRODUCT OR SERVICE TO "SELL"!!!. Since when did telling someone or anyone that you know tht you have something for sell?? Think of all the commercials you see every and all the advertising you encounter everywhere you go. Do you ever hear them apologizing for telling you that they have the most 'amazing' product that you need at a price that you can afford which will make your life better?? Of course not!! They know the power of having pride in what it is they are selling and in business with. You can not have a business without a product. People can not buy from or solicit your services without knowing where you are and what you do or products you sell. Period. It's all about the energy that you put into telling people about your business and product. I want you to think about something awesome that has happened in your life in the last 5 years. After it happened to you, how long did it take for you to tell someone?? And how excited were you when you did tell them?? Did you care what hey thought after you told them?? No. Because you were too happy and felt so good SO YOU HAD TO SHARE AND TELL SOMEONE!!! So go back and think about your product!!! If in fact it is sooooo amazing then why would you have any reservations about telling anybody, anywhere or at anytime!?!? Especially if the product r service has 'changed or enhanced' your life?? Business' grow because they tell every body all day long every chance they get without reservation!!!! Do that exercise next time you are going to market or advertise your product!!! FEEL GOOD AS YOU DO IT!!! AND THEN YOU WON'T BE SELLING.....YOU'LL BE SHARING YOUR EXCITEMENT!!! Come find out how to apply this and grow your business!!!

Hi Nicole. I just ran across your post. By the looks of it, this is an old post. I hope you have found success and gotten your excitement back. I agree with Jen that what you need to do is focus on finding leaders. And you need to do it in a business you are excited about.

I spent 5 years fighting in a system that was not right for me and always wondering why none of my downline were self-motivated. I loved what the company did for people; but I hated the "selling" and what I considered to be the "pushy" part of it. Finally, I learned how to look for the volunteers who wanted to do my business. That has made all the difference for me.
