What is holding me back? I feel it, know that it is me. I hhave lived a life ruled by other's wishes, i know this! my change has been constant and steady. still it's there. It is a fear of having what I want, It is fear of being the kind ,generous, caring person that I AM. I choose to reclaim my power and I release all of this, here and now. I to must choose to remember the power I have reclaimed

What a great idea for a group! Okay, here's me speaking my truth, naming what's held me back. I've been giving my power away for so very long, since I was a small child, that I never realized the extent. I was so used to it that most of the time I didn't know I was doing it.

A series of events this week have shown me that I do it so often that I literally have NO power. Now that my eyes are wide open, for the first time ever, I have very consciously and clearly stated that I have reclaimed my power. And my first use of that power is to REMEMBER that I've reclaimed it. ;-)

Hi Layne...

If low self esteem or depression comes up on a set schedule, it seems like it would be possible to work around it. Is your energy and self image good the other parts of the month?

If it is, some kind of ritual to feel better the other times might be helpful. I wonder what it is you're being held back from. Do you what you want? What is your complete overhaul heading towards? Once you have an idea of what that is - whether a tangible thing or some kind of emotional state, it becomes much easier to envision it.

Then it becomes easier to call the people and situatins into your life that move it closer.

So....whaddya want???

OK update. I called the gal from the Abe Hicks group. Our schedules clash a bit so we might not be able to catch up for a month or two but - pat on the back for me - I called her. And turned out she'd emailed but but somehow I'd missed it, so I looked again, found it and emailed her back.
P.S. on Thursday night I FINALLY went along to my local writers group and it was actually fun and inspiring so I'll be going back. Something else I just hadn't got round to and now I have!!
P.P.S. I then just emailed a friend I haven't had contact with for over a year.
P.P.P.S. I've just been inspired to add a part to my blog on "inspired action"
P.P.P.P.S. Starting with the Iranian restaurant last week (or week before?) Then the writers group, I LIKE this trying something new! I wonder what's next?

Hi I am having a day of joining groups here and havin fun!
OK I can be a little shy. I'm friendly, open-minded, fun and chatty plus I can listen but even so I can be a little shy. I met a great gal who also wants more friends at my Abe Hicks group but I'm chicken to contact her and get in touch. (I'm one of those married people who isn't insular but still likes to make new friends.)
So I want to release this thinking of what if one or both of us is disappointed when we meet - like we don't click - and just contact her. OK I will give myself till next Sunday the 27th to call or email her and make a time etc. to catch up.
As Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen say in Dare to Win or is it "The Aladdin Factor"
"ooooh what the heck. Gooo for it anyway!" (Or is it Tony Robbins?)
(Did I mention I'm chatty? Even online!!)
