The Magic is in the Choices We Make.

The choices we make create our reality through the magic that is each of us. We choose what we believe; we choose how we see the world; we choose how to respond to the world. Choices are made through questions that lead us to conclusions.

So what I would like to do is start creating a long list of questions that help us to choose our reality through our personal magic.

So what are some of your most burning questions about life?

What are some of the questions that have helped you to create a magical reality?

What questions have you been asked by children that have resulted in a mystical journey of self discovery?

No matter what the question, we want to hear it. Don't worry about the answers. These kinds of questions will have a different answer for everyone.

Here is my first installment:
Do we all see green the same? Or purple or yellow? Or anything for that matter?

Dear Kat,

My son had asked me recently, when balancing my checkbook, "are you doing that to see how much money you DON'T have?" LMAO!!!!!!!!

Now while a totally hilarious remark, I certainly had to step back and say, "Um, NO this is NOT how my financial intentions for my future appear in my head! And I was reminded of that check-writing exercise...that one where you write yourself a huge check (visualizing your future financial successes) and tuck it away somewhere for the purpose of manifesting that goal. To see it in front of you, I think, is a huge step towards guiding your intentions.

So that was a pretty basic and funny question posed not by me, but by my son and I thought I would share because it DID inspire me to think further about how I viewed my finances, too. And somewhere along the line it must have been relayed to him. Even the questions that others ask US can cause us to look deeper into ourselves for an inner truth!

On to my most burning question.......

I still wonder to this day, as I have always had a strong desire to reach people and help people -- some how, some way...IS there a way to reach ALL of the people of the world? And are my goals too high here? Would I be setting myself up for failure to keep pursuing this dream? Or does it just make it so that I can continue to make baby-steps towards reaching a vast number of people with messages that I feel would be a benefit for humanity? Anything is possible! And when we reach for the stars, at least maybe we make it to the moon and get to see the skies, right? I have never given up hope with this dream and I have felt it since I was a child. And the question has always been in me. It is what drives me in what I do each day with everyone I interact with. So, if I have invasive doubts surrounding this, is it because I feel inadequate to some degree, or because I simply have set my standards too high?

Hi Audrey -- great post!

You can only touch as many people as are willing to listen, or to read. But you CAN find some, so don't despair that you can't find them all. Because for all those YOU can't get to, someone else of your persuasion -- OUR persuasion -- eventually SHALL get to them.

I can understand the wanting to reach everybody, but even Jesus couldn't do that and make it stick. Because people have free will, and believe what they want to believe. So don't be too hard on yourself and feel "inadequate" my dear sister -- THAT you are NOT!

And there's no such thing as setting your standards "too high"! We should all aspire to greater achievement, while at the same time understanding that there can never be such a thing as "perfection" because that idea presupposes a state of completion, in which case Creation stops, in which case All Things come to an end, which is UTTERLY IMPOSSIBLE because All That Is MUST CONTINUE TO CREATE, or smother itself. And we're all inseparably, irrevocably, unequivocally individual parts of that.

Old Chinese proverb: "Even the longest journey begins with a single step." Baby-steps as you call them are what we all do, with the occasional "giant leap" across a chasm we intitially didn't think we could bridge. It gets done. Little by little by little.

ALWAYS aim for the stars, babe . . . ANY fool can reach the ceiling!

I deeply appreciate your response! I wish for you to know that you had me smiling the entire read. :-) You certainly have a way of writing that can speak to someone as if they are RIGHT THERE next to you, hearing your voice.

And you offered such a beautiful perspective on these questions I posed and brought them into a whole new light -- one that is as clear as day.

Gosh, I guess I can be something of a perfectionist. LOL And, you know, I have to love myself for that, really, because I think I never would have set my standards for myself so high if not for this trait! And . . . I would not only reach the ceiling, but I would just keep hitting my head on it!!! OWWW But I have to be kind to myself & others, too. :-) For living life IS living in continuity and you are right that a "perfectionistic" standard would be an oxymoron (for lack of a better word) to All That Is in this life.

I suppose what really spoke to my center in all of what you said was that while I may set these certain standards for myself quite high, I DO need to allow myself room to BREATHE ~ and thereby everyone else in that process! It's really not fair for me to pursue some visions BY MYSELF!!! And I don't think I WANT that anyway. That's just too darn hard!!! (And that's the coach-potato in me). ;) But as you put it, for all those I can't get to, someone else SHALL. And that is an awesome "collectiveness" that I can THRIVE on in my individuality.

Aww, gee-gawrsh, Audrey, you're meltin' my tuff-skin here . . . can't have that!

Seriously though . . . I do tend to write conversationally, as if I AM talking to someone face-to-face -- that's always been my style, at least in writing letters, which is what this amounts to. Especially with folks like you and Kat and a few others I've grown fond of -- it flows easily and naturally like I'm talking to a beloved sister, or brother, or good friend.

I'm truly, deeply moved that you found my remarks so profound. I do speak from my depths, whether I'm being serious or funny, because I don't believe in political correctness or pandering diplomacy -- I just put it out there, so you can always rest assured that I say what I mean and mean what I say.

And by all means . . . BREATHE! No one of us, no matter how much we may wish it, can fix everything that's gone wrong all by our lonesome. The best we can do is offer all the positive vibes we can muster and try to persuade everyone else to do the same.

Oh yeah . . . the checkbook? That reminds me of many long years ago, when my kids were little, and they overheard Mom and me talking about money -- which was conspicuous for its absence -- and the oldest would look up and say, "But Mom, you can go to the store and get money!"

She'd seen the cashier giving change back -- the fact that we'd just spent considerably MORE than that amount didn't register. She was only five. But to this day I chuckle when I think of it, because from HER perspective, it was just that easy. And now that she's 32 with three kids of her own, and I hear her lament about a lack of funds, I ask why she doesn't just go to the store and get some.

And of course I get, "You're not funny, Dad! You got fifty bucks I can borrow?"

And of course . . . I do!

I've always wondered whether other people see us the way we see ourselves, or whether we see ourselves the way others see us???

What a fabulous question . . . I think there is much truth to each part of your question . . . the part where other people see us the way we see ourselves, and yet, I believe that is still ONLY if we allow that. And the same is certainly true for the latter part of your question. "Do we see ourselves the way others see us?" ONLY if we allow that to happen.

And, finally, I would wonder what do YOU see in other people? I believe this is SO VERY pertinent to how we really "see" ourselves. Do you find others to be beautiful? Inspirational? Kind? Smart? Loving? What do you see? You are probably seeing your very own qualities! I have heard this many times over from so many people, that what we see in others is what we are seeing in ourselves. And the more I look, the more I find it is true. We have even had a discussion in this forum -- "The World is my Mirror, and Yours too" which is a pretty neat discussion about this philosophy.

And it takes us right back to the first part of your question, "Do others see us the way we see ourselves?" They are probably seeing what they see in themselves (yes, sometimes EXACT qualities that we ourselves portray), but also ones that they themselves hold, as well. And, again, we can ALLOW ourselves to accept what others "see." Or we can take that opportunity (if we find it does not fit or wish to change something) to reevaluate a quality in ourselves and improve upon it or change it altogether!

And, by the way, I see you as friendly, inquisitive, kind, loving, intelligent and fun! I've only talked with you a few days so I may have to add to this list. :-)

Hi kids --

I think we all tend to see something of ourselves in other people -- it's universal, and not really surprising when you think about it. Because we're all the same stuff, but with variations.

Not so much physically, mind you, because bodies are as unique as their fingerprints, but I often recognize a personality trait in someone else that feels familiar, and then realize -- that's ME! And it can be a good feeling or a bad one -- depends on the trait I perceive.

I think it serves us well to see these things too, because if it's something good, we want to enhance that characteristic within our own selves -- and of course it it's less than desirable, it's something we want to correct or make better. Or even eliminate.

And of course, all this comes with being able to face ourselves honestly. Because if we can't do that, we'll only continue to see ourselves the way we want to and pay no attention to the negative reflections of Self that we see in others, projecting the bad stuff all onto them while viewing the "me" as "better than that".

So far, as I see YOU, I perceive all the best parts of ME. And that's a nice place to be!

Everything in my life is gaining spiritual, magical, and loving momentum. There are so many things I want to do as a Human in this human race, and as a Social Worker...not to mention the new amazing Kindness Company I am in. I am also a new Fitness Instructor. How can I as one human manage all this expansion and creation of new monetary and spiritual abundance in my life? I really want these things like.... Healing Centers dedicated to Urban neighborhoods, help raise money to help those in need in Liberia, Malawi and other African countries, I want to expand my bank account and be the most healthy, lean, and amazing human being I can be while helping others to empower themselves. There is so much I want to do this would be an initial three page document.

Please some first suggestions. I know Abe states to let the Universal Manager handle it. I need a staff, NOW!!!! I want and desire full abundance in my bank account NOW!

Things must shift now...they are but not fast enough!!!

Hi Marie!!

I have had many questions about what I want to "do." And it always comes back to what makes me FEEL good. I change my mind a lot. I move from writing to music SO much of the time. And I find that that is OK for me. Soooo, I guess I would I ask you, if it is not too personal, does being a personal trainer make you FEEL GOOD? When you wake up in the morning, would you bounce out of bed, per say? Now, this isn't obviously going to happen EVERY day, but it would happen more days than not...LOL.

It goes right back to passion. And Wayne even mentioned it in the magazine this issue...what drives us, what moves us, and it is what we all have in common when we find that certain niche. And sometimes we don't even really care about the money or the time or the circumstances necessarily...it is the love for the choice we are making that is fulfilling our passion in that moment/s.

How do you get good clarity??? I think you just connect with your feel good emotions on this one and see what they have to say. I might be off here, but I do know that since I have followed by own, I have been VERY VERY satisfied.
