- About Me:
- I am a 50 year old amazing woman. I am Superintendent of Natural Resources and Grant Adminstration for the Joliet Park District. Mostly, I manage a Nature Center and some days I would pay them to do this job.
Life is wonderful ! I have two children, both grown and out on their own. My daughter is 21 and I just moved her out to LA to pursue her dream of being a resident of Southern California! She is so alive and full of fun. She doesn't officially buy into the LOA stuff yet but practices it everyday and always lands on her feet! My son is 28 and married, living in a small town. He is not the adventurous type but he is a GREAT dad! That brings me to Christopher! He is the most amazing child in the world! And as he will tell you..............he is Grandma's FAVORITE Boy!
My husband is amazing. He is the nicest, sweetest man I have ever met. He used to train elephants and that is what he was doing when we met! He will do absolutely anything anyone asks. He is really the nicest guy! And cute too!
My 82 year old mother lives with us and she is going strong! Not home much as she goes to the Senior Center two days a week (she is the senior chaueffer!) Shopping as much as she can, and to church on Sunday. She is always running somewhere.
I am totally into Law of Attraction and I am an avid follower of Abraham-Hicks. I was at both Oprah tapings of the Secret and I have been to see Abraham in Chicago as well as attending a James Ray Harmonic Wealth Weekend with my husband. I completed the Success Principles through the Jack Canfield Personal Coaching Program.
I was in the audience for Oprah 4 times last year and you are only allowed in once! I have been there 6 times total. In my younger years I used to manage a HUGE bookstore in Houston. Bookstop Alabama Theatre. I did celebrity book events as the Special Events Coordinator. I've met so many celebrities I can hardly remember them all.
What a life I have lead. And it all brought me right here! I am so grateful! I love nature. I LOVE to garden. I LOVE to travel. I LOVE to have parties. I LOVE to sit around a campfire and sing while someone plays guitar. I LOVE to drink wine. I LOVE old Gidget movies. I LOVE photography..................check out some of my best and favorite photos below. My favorite movie of all time is Dirty Dancing. I am extremely grateful to be where I am right now in this life and can't wait to see what happens tomorrow!
