Christmas is said to be:
A time of giving and a time of sharing
A time of wishing and a time for caring
A time when family and friends again unite
To pay homage to that fateful night
And from that night upon which a star shone high

What fills the heart at Christmas? One may ask
I say:
The same that fills the heart all year round; even today!
The wanting for a time of sharing
The wishing for a time of caring
The longing of a family that is united
The unconditional love of another
That in a moment’s discomfort will not take flight.
Christmas is a time of year when peace reigns on the planet
When hearts leap for joy or drowned in deep sadness
For at Christmas; time for a moment seems to stand still
So that love or the lack thereof; may be re-examined again.
