- About Me:
- I am a wife and SAHM of two young kids, boy 4 and girl 2. It wasn't my plan to stay at home with them, but here I am. It's very rewarding, yet the most challenging thing I've ever done. One second they can say or do something that melts my heart and the next they can be little monsters!
Lately I've realized that I have lost all sense of fun and easy going-ness. I am really looking to find ways to relax and enjoy life, no matter what it brings to me. I have been quite the witch to my family, harping, nit-picking, complaining, playing the victim, etc. That's not how I want it to be. We all deserve a family live of peace, love and harmony.
I want to feel more happiness in my relationships, I want to be a nurturing and supportive wife and mother, I need to learn the art of patience in a big way. I also want to "Take Back Me". I want to be more than just "Mom" again. I am trying to bring back my own hobbies and iterests and time for me, but it's very difficult without a support system. My husband and I are pretty much alone here in CA... our family is all across the country and our friends are not very close by either.
So here I am, as part of the "Take Back Me" program, delving back into books and such related to spirituality. I hope to meet some supportive friends here!
