i wish this post didnt pop up because the only thing today so far is that my friend died.
1. its a wonderful day, blue sky, 70 degrees
2. had a nice run today.
3. accomplished some things that seemed impossible before starting.
4. had a really good lunch I made myself.
5. my parents went out of town!!! :-D that's really why its a wonde...
SO far in the two hours that I've been awake:
1) The house is clean
2) Load of laundry is done
3) Liam is in a great! Mood
4) Good cartoons are on for Liam
5) My hot water is back on

Having a moment
Lately I have been so incredibly positive. But Today the enormity of what has happened in my life is almost overwhelming. 4 months ago I was in the car accident, then I lost my beloved Grandfather, My son left for boarding school, so my days have no more happy child in them, I have lost my job and now as of today I have lost my car as well.
So much good has happened lately - my love coming into my life. However I can not see him without a car... I am feeling quite desolate today.

She's back
Hello everyone! Its been more than a year since I have been on this website and I am so grateful to have remembered it.
The past year has been a challenge. I was injured in a seemingly small car accident (Traumatic Brain Injury, back and neck injuries) and am finally on the mend.
As horrific as the accident was, I am blessed with the new perspective and light that a near death experience provides. My life is back on track, and I can't stop counting my blessings.

Passing down the LOA to my son
My son and I had a particularly challenging day with my Mom who is mentally ill. It is hard on my son because he is a teenager and has SO many hormones and feelings rushing around his body - so anything emotional seems worse times ten!
We were sitting at dinner feeling downtrodden and I asked him to make a dream list. Anything you want. Money doesn't matter.

I am so grateful and thankful

My amazing son. We spent the morning laughing and walking our biggest and youngest dog along the DC waterfront. He is so unique and lovely and brings a joy to my heart that is irreplaceable.
