In 'the beginning': discussing the dvd

I have been 'good' busy and thought I wanted to share something with all of you here! You've shared so much with me. I'm thankful.

I was looking back into an IM conversation I had with my brother Daniel. We were talking about the dvd and it was me trying to introduce him to the dvd. Unfortunately at that time, March 2006, people from Australia (where Daniel was living) were unable to view the dvd. If you read the whole conversation, you'll chuckle when you get to the part we were both so disappointed he could not access the movie online - EVEN when he was willing to pay five bucks!

I've included some notes in parentheses to add some trinkets of events or happenings or insights now looking back at this conversation.

It's just a simple conversation that perhaps many others have with their friends. You've probably had similar ones with your friends, co-workers, family members etc.

I hope this is an entertaining read and perhaps can trigger some insights. I would LOVE COMMENTS from you on this page. It would help me gain some perspectives as well! While you're at it, be my friend! No person is an island.

I hope you take the time to comment. I think the subconscious is an important part of one's success. In my consults, the energy from a positively charged person and a negatively charged person is so glaringly obvious that their presence are just stark contrasts. I'd love to hear from everyone. it was a very effective movie - well for me, it re-ignited my passion and determination and confidence.
And I think the movie will have a very profound effect on a lot of people.
It dwells with 'the Law of Attraction' and also how to re-ignite and connect with your personal power. From the Bible "Ask and You Shall Receive"

is it different from everything you've read or seen or listened to before?

well, yes and no. to deliver in this format was very illuminating.

Whatever is going on in your mind is what you are attracting

Those who speak most of illness have illness, those who speak most of prosperity have it...etc...
It's not "wishful" thinking.
You can't have a universe without the mind entering into it
Choose your thoughts carefully -- you are a masterpiece of your life

It's OK that thoughts don't manifest into reality immediately (if we saw a picture of an elephant and it instantly appeared, that would be too soon)

EVERYTHING in your life you have attracted -- accept that fact -- it's true.
Your thoughts cause your feelings

Alex says:
We don't need to complicate all the "reasons" behind our emotions. It's much simpler than that. Two categories -- good feelings, bad feelings.

Alex says:
Thoughts that bring about good feelings mean you are on the right track. Thoughts that bring about bad feelings means you are not on the right track.
Whatever it is you are feeling is a perfect reflection of what is in the process of becoming
You get exactly what you are FEELING
Happy feelings will attract more happy circumstances

Alex says:
You can begin feeling whatever you want (even if it's not there)... the universe will correspond to the nature of your song

Alex says:
What you focus on with your thought and feeling is what you attract into your experience
What you think and what you feel and what actually manifests is ALWAYS a match - no exception

Alex says:
Shift your awareness

It's important to feel good ( ( ( (((good))) ) ) )

Alex says:
You can change your emotion immediately -- by thinking of something joyful, or singing a song, or remembering a happy experience

When you get the hang of this, before you know it you will KNOW you are the creator

Alex says:
Life can and should be phenomenal -- and it will be when you consciously apply the Law of Attraction
Universe will re-arrange itself accordingly

Alex says:
Start by using this sentence for all of your wants: "I'm so happy and grateful now that...... "
You don't need to know HOW the universe is going to rearrange itself

Alex says:
LOA is simply figuring out for yourself what will generate the positive feelings of having it NOW
You might get an inspired thought or idea to help you move towards what you want faster
The universe likes SPEED. Don't delay, don't second-guess, don't doubt...
When the opportunity or impulse is there -- ACT (Note from Alex: there are some who like to say that the dvd or LOA is about not taking action but it clearly states here to do exactly that - ACT!)

Alex says:
You will attract everything you require - money, people, connections... PAY ATTENTION to what's being set in front of you
(Note from Alex: From that time until the present, it is just
phenomenal how things have been unfolding. It’s been a journey unfolding for me – like an
unraveling of the path, even the things that did not manifest, in hindsight, they are all part
of the journey and everything holds a lesson to evolve, a clue to pursue, a challenge to
take and evolve your self, and in the evolving along the path, I’ve been attracting more and
more things, people, events, resources that are leading me and inspiring me towards my
ultimate visualized goals!)

Alex says:
You can start with nothing -- and out of nothing or no way - a WAY will be provided.

Alex says:
HOW LONG??? No rules on time -- the more aligned you are with positive feelings the quicker things happen

Alex says:
Size is nothing to the universe (unlimited abundance if that's what you wish) We make the rules on size and time

gloves says:
but they won't be instant right? not like u said, think of an elephant and have it appear then and there. the universe uses the things that already exist to make it happen?

Alex says:

gloves says:
yup. and of course this is harder to do than it sounds ...?

Alex says:
to develop to have evolved to THAT level like anything else. sure. but it increases momentum

Alex says:
What can you do right now to turn your life around?? Gratitude
Gratitude will bring more into our lives immediately
What we think about and THANK about is what we bring about

Alex says:
What are the things you are grateful for?? Feel the gratitude.. focus on what you have right now that you are grateful for
Play the picture in your mind - focus on the end result
VISUALIZE!!! Rehearse your future
VISUALIZE!!! See it, feel it! This is where action begins
Feel the joy -- feel the happiness )
An affirmative thought is 100 times more powerful than a negative one

Our job is not to worry about the "How". The "How" will show up out of the commitment and belief in the "what"

Alex says:
The Hows are the domain of the universe. It always knows the quickest, fastest, most harmonious way between you and your dream

(of course - remember you have to also take action the way you FEEL right)

Alex says:
If you turn it over to the universe, you will be surprised and dazzled by what is delivered -- this is where magic and miracles happen
Turn it over to the universe daily... but it should never be a chore.

Alex says:
Feel exhilarated by the whole process -- high, happy, in tune

Alex says:
The only difference between people who are really living this way is they have habituated ways of being.
They remember to do it all the time

Alex says:
Create a Vision Board -- pictures of what you want to attract -- every day look at it and get into the feeling state of already having acquired these wants

Decide what you want -- believe you can have it, believe you deserve it, believe it's possible for you
Alex says:
Close your eyes and visualize having what you already want - and the feeling of having it already.
Focus on being grateful for what you have already -- enjoy it!! Then release into the universe. The universe will manifest it.

Set a goal so big that if you achieved it, it would blow your mind.
When you have an inspired thought, you must trust it and act on it.

Alex says:
Life is meant to be abundant in ALL areas....
Go for the sense of inner joy and peace then all outside things appear
We are the creators of our universe

Alex says:
Relationships: Treat yourself the way you want to be treated by others -- love yourself and you will be loved
Healthy respect for yourself
For those you work with or interact with regularly -- get a notebook and write down positive aspects of each of those people.

Alex says:
Write down the things you like most about them (don't expect change from them). Law of attraction will not put you in the same space together if you frequencies don't match

Alex says:
When you realize your potential to feel good, you will ask no one to be different in order for you to feel good.

Alex says:
You will free yourself from the cumbersome impossibilities of needing to control the world, your friends, your mate, your children.....

Alex says:
You are the only one that creates your reality
No one else can think or feel for you -- its YOU -- ONLY YOU.

Alex says:
Health: thank the universe for your own healing. Laugh, stress free happiness will keep you healthy.
Immune system will heal itself

Alex says:
Learn to become still -- and take your attention away from what you don't want, and place your attention on what you wish to experience

Alex says:
When the voice and vision on the inside become more profound and clear than the opinions on the outside, then you have mastered your life

You are not here to try to get the world to be just as you want it. You are here to create the world around you that you choose.
And allow the world as others choose to see it, exist as well

People think that if everyone knows the power of the LOA there won't be enough to go around -- This is a lie that's been ingrained in us and makes so many greedy.
The truth is there is more than enough love, creative ideas, power, joy, happiness to go around.

Alex says:
All of this abundance begins to shine through a mind that is aware of it's own infinite nature. There's enough for everyone. See it. Believe it. it will show up for you.

Alex says:
So let the variety of your reality thrill you as you choose all the things you want... get behind the good feelings of all your wants.

Alex says:
Write your script. When you see things you don't want, don't think about them, write about them, talk about them, push against them, or join groups that focus on the don't wants.... remove your attention from don't wants... and place them on do wants

Alex says:
We are mass energy. Everything is energy. EVERYTHING. (Note from Alex: I’ve realized that being sensitized to energy in terms of feeling good or feeling bad – or that heavy or tight feeling – are very real clues – sort of like your intuition maybe – but in communication or consulting or coaching – what I’m doing is also at the very core – energy coaching. When that A-ha moment happens or when as a consultant I open up the client’s vision of what’s possible for them to create more profit streams and channels – that there is so much more possible for them by themselves! That is a huge turnaround and pivotal situation from which point the actions they take and the energy behind that is stronger belief, more confidence, more conviction, deeper hope and especially greater faith.)

Alex says:
Don't define yourself by your body -- it's the infinite being that's connected to everything in the universe.

Alex says:
One energy field. Our bodies have distracted us from our energy. We are the infinite field of unfolding possibilities. The creative force.

Alex says:
Are your thoughts worthy of you? If not - NOW is the time to change them. You can begin right were you are right now. Nothing matters but this moment and what you are focusing your attention on.

work is working out alright. Building momentum as i go. have gotten a supplier contact. now hope the buyer in middle east agrees to the price we quote. hope the universe has this in store for me and part of my first millions (Note from Alex: This deal did not eventuate. But as I mentioned I can now see, looking back, that this is a journey – as I mentioned above)

yes, i am always prepared to receive the abundance from the universe.

gloves says:
u know, there will be many who will be cynical about it all

Alex says:
and that is where the movie and also other books indicate that the cynics diminish their intentions. there is no doubting the quantum physics part that we are ultimately energy.

Alex says:
and the cynics will attract more of it.

Alex says:
it is attraction - like attracts more of that you focus on.

Alex says:
when you doubt, you attract doubt - it is a perfect equation. Cause and effect.

Alex says:
and all in its own time.

but one must also act

of course

Alex says:
it is likened to relationships. if a wife or girlfriend starts to suspect and eventually convinces herself that her partner is having an affair, she can ultimately also focus and interpret all sorts of things in that way - and also with that intentional energy, bring about a chain of events that leads to it. (generate mistrust in relationship which slowly diminish the quality of her loving) etc.
(Note from Alex: This is equally applicable to husbands and boyfriends too. There was a year where my wife Angelina and myself were somehow meeting a lot of friends and people who were having tremendously huge relationship challenges and we were inspired to write a self-coaching book on relationship dynamics. We pass this to our friends and people we meet along the way with whom we feel require it. We’ve shared this online with people we’ve met in the forums. It is called “Real Love For Real Life: A Coaching Course.” It isn’t published anywhere. Reading it recently, I found that it is quite confronting. It’s a first draft but we’ve been getting wonderful response – and it has changed the energy of friends and people we have shared it with so we’re elated)

What are your belief systems? Do any of these statements resonate with you:
Money is the root of all evil
Wealthy people are morally corrupt

I don’t deserve to be wealthy

they can continue to be cynical about how wealth in all areas of life can be generated

Alex says:
but real wealth also makes one have that authentic feel good energy

gloves says:
good point, 2 sides to every story

Alex says:
i don't see the benefit to me of being cynical anyway. it's like telling people don't think positively.

Alex says:
you get more of what you feed and imbed in your subconscious.

gloves says:
oh i agree- just saying

Alex says:
i think i even came across someone who said that this movie and the dynamic of getting what you ask for is like dealing with the devil.
but yet the bible does say otherwise.

gloves says:
how is it like dealing with the devil?

Alex says:
something like you can't get that stuff for nothing...or something like that.

Alex says:
or may be you will end up paying for it with your soul later on...

Alex says:
Jesus said, "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." [Mark 11:24] He did not say that you won't have them. He did not say that you might have them. He said that you shall have them.
The "magic" word Jesus used there is "believe." There is no room for chance in believing.

Alex says:
a member of their family, a friend, a co-worker or some other person scoffs at their belief. Doubt creeps in. Their return is deflected, and the Law appears not to work.

gloves says:
well, it could be argued that the action u take is the 'fee' for receiving. because u still hv to 'receive' the stuff the universe gives right? and some of that might be taking action and DOING something

Alex says:
yes. everything is acting with an intention you set.

Alex says:
"Surely, blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee." [Hebrews 6:14] So God promised

gloves says:
i mean, u cld really channel things and when the opportunity pops up ... if u doubt or decide not to take the opportunity up because it involves a bit of effort on ur part then ... it still won't happen for u. so it isn't really like something for nothing.

Alex says:
yes.

gloves says:
it's not too dissimilar to stuff i've read about how having a goal in mind will give focus to things - u will 'see' opportunities, see things that can help etc.

Alex says:
for me i still work and take action to learn and grow and evolve. just i now also want to tune my whole energy from within to release my intention to multiply wealth - and believe and have unwavering faith that God / the universe will do its works - and attract the right stuff to me. and so on.

gloves says:
i do believe in positive thinking though. we do forget to do that a lot of the time.

Alex says:
imagine just tuning your inner receptor to such a fine level that you are in synch with the universal mind and you can place your order for everything you want. you probably won't even have to remind yourself to think positively anymore.

gloves says:
yup, yup. the idea is a really good one. how did they 'research' that all these legendary people had this 'secret' anyway?

Alex says:
i don't know how they did it... but for me, my own journey led me to contribute to my Law of Attraction book as a featured author. One of the things in the movie that struck me was that people who knew the secret, some of them, did not want to let others find out, so they created 'jobs' for them to 'earn their keep', which prevented them from expanding their vision of this law.
(Note from Alex: I’ve recently re-read “God Wants You To Be Rich by Paul Zane Pilzer and gotten huge insights into the abundance around us. There were so many things that I had read yet this information from the dvd provided a catalyst for me.)

Alex says:
sort of like create a glass ceiling for people, give them a narrow view of earning money

gloves says:
ahhhh, i see.

gloves says:
these are the 'greedy ones who don't want everybody to know about it

gloves says:
even though there is plenty to go around?

gloves says:
then again, that's a real human trait that one.

Alex says:
liberating thought - actually the power cannot be controlled - anyone has access to it - if they knew of the universal genie and how to tap into it.

Alex says:
and there is always plenty to go around

Alex says:
but now the revolution is to try and spread this knowledge worldwide

gloves says:
so that's the revolution?

Alex says:
with critical mass ... the world would change.

gloves says:
the problem's going to be to convince the cynics, but i suppose they'll come around if everybody wants them to.

Alex says:
"All causation is from your subconscious mind, and your subconscious mind can be changed. You are the only one who can change it."
You alone can affect your reaping of your tenfold harvest--regardless of the amount of cash, valuables or skill-effort involved, [by changing your behavior].

Alex says:
"For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me" [Job 3:25].

gloves says:
so u can't change others - just yourself?

Alex says:
"Incidentally, it has often been said, many times inaptly, that 'The truth shall make you free.' The only truth that will make you free is the truth that you prove for yourself. If you cannot prove something in your own experience--if you cannot apply it and demonstrate it in your daily life--whatever truth it is, or is not, will not make you free."

gloves says:
in other words u hv to see it for yourself

gloves says:
isn't this always a bit of a chicken or the egg thing? u might be able to see it if u believe, but what if u're only able to see because u believe? which is the 'true' reality? Or is there no such thing as a 'true' reality?

Alex says:
do it for yourself. change yourself. tune yourself and reap the rewards through the strengthening of your belief and faith that all works in its own universal synch and there is abundance for all. no one will be without because you have this power. let the rest - whatever or whoever - be. bring the abundance into your own life. then when it spills over, you have more to share with others.

Alex says:
There is a reality for each person. their individual interpretation of events.

Alex says:
that's the cause and effect

Alex says:
whatever their subconscious is attuned to - is what they get more of.

Alex says:
remember that so many 'inventions' came from the universal mind.

Alex says:
it just clicked.

Alex says:
gratitude. and god asks for faith and belief. even if you start from the size of a mustard seed can move mountain

gloves says:
well, the doing part is still a challenge i feel.

Alex says:
that's why that movie is so good. it gave me such a clearer understanding of it. and really jump start the doing and the belief i have in the process (and somehow it cannot really be explained)

gloves says:
it jump started u on the doing side of things?

Alex says:
doing things to tune my subconscious, etc.

Alex says:

nah, i guess i should have said 'action' - taking action on the things that present themselves to u.
