to witness a miracle

I know most of us go through day to day activities and never put to much thought into a miracle. I have lived my entire life up until about the ast yr or so negative and what if this and that and I still struggle with it. But I have been on a journey of discovery. we have moved and been living in our trailer with our children and that story is to long to tell you other than you realize what is important in life. Well, all has been well here in cajun country kids have been good and then my middle dd gets a cold. I had been treating her with home remedies and some over the counter meds and still the sinus lingered and she had been coughing for some time. We had taken a trip back to our home in Ohio came back to Louisiana and she still was coughing. She woke up Monday June 14th and said MOM my hands feel weird. I said maybe you slept of them I couldnt figure out waht was wrong they were even red. i then noticed she was feverish and decided to take her to the urgent care. Upon arrival they thought she has bronchitis and maybe strep cause of hte rash that she had on her tummy. Strep was negative. So we went home with a script of Azithromycin and an inhaler. Almost immediatly she wasnt feeling well after the medicine her tummy hurt so bad. I kept her on it for 2 day and called Dr back said she really isnt any better so I took her back. The did lab work and found her liver enzymes were high and had to go to another Dr immediatly. All in the mean time her hands were more red and the whites of her eyes were real red. went to Dr she said didnt know what it was thought a virus but thought maybe Kawaskai disease. So went for more blood work to rule out lupus and other things all that come back negative. So on way home that night from Dr she got real bad stomach pain over her liver and i was scared to death I took her to the ER. They tested for Hepatitis and it was negative. So they put her on AMoxil cause we had stopped taking the Azithromycin cuase we thoguht it was making her liver enzymes go high. So this was saturday and I noticed she had what they called strawberry tougne and i immediatly thought oh my god she has Kawasaki syndrome. (its not a good diagnosis) All this time we had been praying and praying and a pastor friend of our prayed over her . Finally the dr called and said we want to put her in the hospital for a while to give her the gamma glodulin its a medicine a blood product they give to kids with kawasaki it is 5000 a bottle and she had 8 bottles ( we have NO insurance). Her hads and feet began to peel in sheets all the skin peeled off. she had heart scan while in the hospital cause kawasaki effects the heart. Se we spent 2 days in the hospital by the way during all this she was hardly sick just uncomofortable a bit just not feeling great. But if you read about this disease many kids suffer for years with problems and we wont know till the end of Aug after her next echo if there was heart involvment but I REFUSE to believe there is. I refuse to claim that for her. so when I say I have seen a miracle I have see GOD himself touch my child and heal her. So many other kids are still in bed years after this disease and my sweet little girl is out running and riding her horse and being her normal self and this is all by the graces of GOD. I have never in my life been so grateful for something as I am her recovery. I look at her smile and it is like a ray of sunshine it is truely amazing. I work on keeping her positive everyday. She worries about her heart but I know she has been fully healed and will live a long healthy life. I might not after the hospital bills start coming it HEHEHHEHE.
