- About Me:
- I am an equine massage therapist and saddle fitter. Love to write about the spiritual journey and LOA in a practical manner. I seek to help horse and rider perform at their optimum and thus have a happy partnership. To increase circulation and to help the horse to perform with a full range of motion are some of the goals of a bodywork session. I work on dressage and event horses, steeplechasers, racehorses, pleasure horses - basically all things equine. Having a properly fitted saddle is paramount to a horse's well-being - imagine sitting in an uncomfortable chair for hours or walking in a pair of ill-fitting shoes. Ouch. All these elemements are crucial for optimal performance. With saddle fitting , we seek to provide the best fit through both static fitting and dynamic fitting - which is watching the horse and rider together. If a good fit is not there, soreness develops and further problems can surface. My goal is a happy horse and a happy rider. These reamrkable animals do so much for us solely on a bond of trust - a properly fitted saddle and some bodywork are the least we can do. It is about feeling good. Maximum comfort equals optimum performance. From time to time, I write articles concerning practical views of the law of attraction, finding one's purpose and passion and other topics for The Magic Happens magazine, which can be found here at PI. I hope that through my writing about the practical side of these principles , we can laugh, learn and have FUN at the same time.

Lesson from the Universe
I'm am in recovery mode from being kicked by one of my horses about ten days ago. Wound up with a badly bruised right arm, sore butt and a couple of broken ribs. I was turning out horses who have been together for awhile. One mare just went off and left me have it with both barrels. After contemplating what the blank happened - I decided the first message from the universe was to slow down. Duly noted. I now am not in such a rush doing evening chores.

Touching Our Soul and a Snippet of Awareness
I used to go through most of my life with blinders on. In horse training they are used to keep the horse focused on what he/she is doing. Mostly used in racing - run hard, run fast- no distractions. Blinders for me was a way to hide. Not sure why. My guess is that it kept me in the nose to the grindstone mode. Chapters - A New Door Opens
I'm learning more and more that life is like a series of chapters.I had been dreading tyring to find a place to live for myself, my partner, a dog and 4-6 horses. We have to be out of our current place by July 1 - so it was like OMG - the world is coming to an end. But I now realize that when one door closes another opens. We found a place that suits us, the new landlords are very happy with us and its a horse facility. So my partner can continue in a downsized role with the horses. Blessing #1.… Continue

In the process lies the bliss
I was inspired to think about this upon reading a blog post here. This blog hit me right between the eyes with the beauty, the passion and the grace those words contained. We all seek our passion - what drives us to jump out of bed and say Yippee. Passion is something where you lose all track of time, enjoying the tasks involved in the process - each having a beauty all its own and not worrying about results.

The easy way or the hard way
Yippee - I get a choice. So why in the heck do I seem to gravitate to the hard way. Hard head ? - maybe. On so many issues, it still seems if I want to orchestrate everything. It seems as if we all go through the mental dicussion of "Am I serving my life's purpose ?" It is like the proverbial quest for the Grail. I have been busy enjoying to fruits of manifestation.... we are in the process of finaly getting our own peice of land to build our own Home....should be fully ours before christmas....Yay! So excited. The way it has come together is so evidence of this powerful way of thinking...cant describe how amazing it all is.....so affirming...its incredible!
Here is a picture of the house site.....this is exactly where it will be, our entrance is going to be where the 2 fence posts are. The house will be named after the hill you can see in the background. I will add a picture of the view we will have soon too....its breathtaking! x
