- am an aspiring artist, hoping to make it big before I pass on :).
Love the outdoors, music, dancing and self improvement. Yoga and meditation keep me sane and healthy. My passion is oil painting, started when I was 39. Never too late too use the gift God gave you. Grandmother too five beautiful kids, mom to one beautiful daughter and one cat (Dewey at home).
I believe we all have a gift of Intuition and if we open our hearts and minds we can heal ourselves physically and mentally. When needed of course practical medicine is a must, I am not a fool. Dharma means 'right way of living', 'proper conduct', 'duty' or 'righteousness'. With respect to spirituality, dharma might be considered the Way of the Higher Truths

Going Veg...
I have been considering going vegetarian, when I just found this article. I know now I will. We have herbivore teeth people...humans were not meant too eat flesh and blood...ewe..gross when you put it that way huh?? LOL http://goveg.org/naturalhumandiet_meat.asp?pf=true

My beautiful friend, what does it take to see the world through a new set of eyes?
Let's start with intention which is where all powerful change is ignighted.
Once your intention is clealy focused upon your 'new vision' of the world, then comes
'being present'; living in the moment with awareness and non-judgmentalism.
Being aware in the present moment is the only honest and nurturing place to reside.
Once you are in full intention of being present in the moment; you will discover that your mental model of the world is being stressed. There are two ways to go here; one is to be stressed and remain in denial and the second; the empowering one, is 'transforming your mental model. For this new mental model to grant you the 'new eyes' you seek it must grow food in the orchard of your life; make your life a much happier and prosperous experience!

Like the butterfly, my friend, we need to undergo the changes in insight necessary to reveal to ourselves our own true beauty.
Life's experiences and cultural bias have often distorted out sight of truth. We see ugly where beauty resides; we feel unworthy where co-creation lies; we are told we don't measure up where no one is above our measure.

My friend, free yourself from the tyanny of petty things; especially thoughts the are not loving and that don't support your most cherished dreams. Those thoughts keep you grounded in a way that prevents you from the joy of living your dreams.
Believing in yourself is a very powerful and necessary thing and it provides you with the fuel to carry you over the rough patches and through the times that your dreams seem distant and perhaps unreachable. know that you have within you all you need to "fly without wings."
