Life As Art

This is truly the best moment!

I have a passion for animals, having worked as a zookeeper for 10 years and then, for a little while, in an animal shelter. I also have a few animals of my own - a couple of rescued budgies and a very spoiled dog and cat. You can see some of the animals I have known and loved in my pictures, above. I also love to garden and be outdoors, so perhaps I should really say that I have a passion for *LIFE*. I also am a proud mother and grandmother and, just last year, at age 50, I married the love of my life. Seems it is never too late! This year we bought our first home together. I feel very blessed.

Below are some of the books I have read and enjoyed. I love to read and I especially love books that make me think and wonder. I mostly prefer non-fiction now, though in my youth I read only fiction (Tolkien was my first love, I took my first trip to England to put flowers on his grave,) and have even written some.
